Castillo de San Marcos

The oldest masonry fort in the United States, the Castillo de San Marcos is a must see while visiting Historic St. Augustine.  Built in the 1600s, the fort was built by Spanish soldiers.  Visitors can see how these soldiers lived in the fort by touring the different rooms, and can even watch historical re-enactments.

Children (Age 15 and under): FREE with a paying adult.
